Reservations
You can inform us of your reservation in various ways:
- By means of the application form. We will then let you know as soon as possible whether the yacht of your choice is still available.
- By means of the availability schedule. If the yacht of your choice is still available, you can then klick on the week amount to make the reservation. We will then contact you right away to confirm your reservation.
- By means of an email to: info@yachtcharter-vanstraten.nl
- Of course, you can also book by telephone. Then you find out immediately whether the yacht of your choice is still available. Phone: +31 515 438 158.
Whichever way you choose, we will send you a charter contract, the copy of which you will need to return to us as soon as possible, complete with your signature. In addition, you should transfer a down payment of 50% of the charter fee to us directly upon your reservation. After this payment has been received, your booking is final. The remaining 50% must be in our possession 3 weeks before your sailing at the latest.
All charter prices include insurance and sales tax. Upon departure a deposit of EUR 500 (this equals the excess of the All Risk Insurance) is to be paid in cash. When you are completely rested and satisfied, and you return your yacht to us shipshape and in its original state, the deposit will be returned to you. If you take out deposit insurance with us at EUR 60, the deposit is insured. You also have the option to take out a cancellation insurance (5% of the cost of the charter costs).
Weekend or midweek reservations (if available) can be made at short notice, outside the high season.
The charter fee for these periods (Friday from 19.00 till Monday 14.00 or Monday 19.00 till Friday 14.00) constitutes 65% of the week price in the period concerned.
 Departure and return
We devote a lot of attention to the maintenance of our yachts. We will provide you with a spick and span yacht with filled up water and fuel tanks.
Departure: Saturday morning from 10 am.
Return: Friday afternoon before 4 pm.
Please ensure that you return in time. We will urgently need the following hours to get the yacht in top condition for the next group of guests.
For reasons of health and hygiene pets are not permitted on board.
 When would you like to sail?
If you are not bound by school holidays, we advise you to enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet on the water immediately before or after the summer holidays. There will be a different atmosphere: you may have a small island to yourself, there will be plenty of room in the marinas, and nature will be at its best. You will be reassured to know that all our yachts are equipped for all types of weather. And last but not least, you will benefit from the attractive early or end-of-season prices.
